For comparison, a typical AUM financial advisor charges 1% of investment assets.  That means someone with $1 million dollars of investments pays fees of $10,000 each and every year.  A $2 million dollar portfolio would be $20,000/year, etc.  You can do the calculations for your own portfolio size.
